Technical Glitch in NASA's James Webb Space Telescope
James Webb Space Telescope has been continuously providing extra-ordinary view of the cosmos.
But recently, team of experts at ESA informed that the space telescope is facing some technical glitch.
The space telescope is experiencing “increased friction” during setup processes since August 24.
Because of this James Webb team has taken necessary steps to fix the issue.
The Space Telescope team has paused the observation in one mode till they get further insights.
That mode is Medium-Range Spectroscopy (MRS) mode.
The three other modes of observation — imaging, low-resolution spectroscopy and coronagraphy — are working perfectly fine.
A few months back also, James Webb got hit by a micrometeroid.
