Apple AirTags are now banned in this airline

Travelers across the globe use Apple AirTags to track their luggage in real-time

But, recently an airline has banned their travelers from carrying activated Apple AirTags.

According to the lady, the Apple Watch showed her typical heart rates for days,

That Airline is Germany-based Lufthansa Airlines

They consider device tracking as ‘dangerous’ activity.

A twitter user asked the Airline on Twitter if they allow Apple AirTags or not.

“Lufthansa is banning activated AirTag from luggage as they are classified as dangerous and need to be turned off." - The Airline replied.

Tthe airline claims that According to International Civilian Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines, baggage trackers are subject to the dangerous goods regulations.

Lufthansa suggest that AirTags could be put into hold luggage if the battery is removed.

Doing so will kill the whole purpose of carrying the Apple AirTag.
